User Roles and Permissions

A user in Alive5 can be one of two roles: Admin or Agent.

Admin - can do everything

  • edit Users & Channels
  • create Bot Flows
  • customize chat windows
  • import phone numbers
  • manage billing

Agent - communicate with customers

  • chat with customers
  • update Contacts
  • send Broadcasts (to enable, contact support)

When editing a User, there is a ‘Role’ drop down where you can pick ‘Admin’ or ‘Agent’:

Once updated, the User will need to log out and log back in to assume the new role.
