In some cases, web site visitors who are using your live chat may prefer to communicate with you through SMS / text messaging since they're on the move and on their mobile phones.
Now, you can add a new option to allow the visitor to send a text to your Alive5 SMS phone number:
In the example above, we have a Greeting Bot connected to a Question Bot (multiple choice). The first choice is ‘Book a Demo’, second choice is ‘Chat Now’, and the third choice is ‘Text Us’.
In the Bot Flow builder, we created the ‘Text Us’ choice which is connected to the ‘SMS Opt-In Bot’.
The SMS Opt-In Bot is a new addition to the Bot Flow builder library, and looks like this:
Once the visitor submits their phone number and a message, it appears instantly in your Alive5 SMS section for your team to reply:
