The Conversations Report allows administrators to download entire conversations for each individual contact or chat session.
Filters
For all reports, you can filter by*
- Type of chat: SMS, Live Chat, Facebook Messenger, Team Chat
- Date range (maximum 90 days at a time)
- Bot flow
- Alive5 User
- Chat session type (for live chat only):
- Completed
- Missed
- Transferred
- Chatbots only
- Abandoned / missed / offline
*Some types of reports may or may not have the filters above.
SMS / Facebook Messenger
Report results will output entire SMS threads per contact phone number. Based on your date range, it will aggregate all the back-and-forth dialogue for the mobile phone number (end user, not Alive5 user).
Live Chat
Report results will output conversations per chat session. A chat session is defined as a web visitor opening the widget, chatting with the chatbot or a human agent. Based on your date range, it will aggregate all the back-and-forth dialogue for each web visitor (end user, not Alive5 user).
Accessing the report
You must be logged in as an administrator, and click on the reporting icon in your Alive5 dashboard:

Then, within the Reporting app, click the "Conversations" option in the navigation bar. Select your desired date range and click "Generate Report."
To view individual chat sessions, click on each row to bring up a pop up with the full session:
Reporting Access
- Web console - most reports allow you to view data visually in the console immediately after running them.
- .CSV file download - all reports allow you to export the report results into a dot CSV file. The file is delivered via your email in a secure link.
- API access - Report metrics are also available through our API. If you can't find the report you need, contact support@alive5.com for assistance.
