Force User Away & Logout

As an Admin, you may want to manage an Agent’s online status. If an Agent left the office for the day and did not go to AWAY mode, or if they’ve left on vacation, you can force their status to AWAY, or log them out completely from Alive5.

Force Away

Go to the Team Chat section in your console and click on the User you’d like to update their status to AWAY mode:

Click OK and the User will be updated to Away.

Force Logout

Go to the "Users" section in your console and edit the User you want to logout and use "Force Logout" option that will log that user out from all browsers and mobile app.

Disable User

To fully remove access for a User (for example, if they’ve left the company), but without deleting their data, toggle the Disable User option. This will also log that user out from all browsers and the mobile app. Additionally, they will be removed from all Channels they belong to.

Delete User

To delete a User, click DELETE USER. This will delete their user account (email and password) and also log that user out from all browsers and the mobile app. No other data will be affected - user will still appear in chat histories, SMS threads, and reporting.
